Session Nine

Two men in a workshop, one older and one younger, working on a machine with tools. The older man is guiding the younger one, both wearing safety glasses and focused on their task.

How do we create a safe and positive learning environment?

This session helps Industry Associates understand what it means to create a safe and positive learning environment in FE. Drawing on their own industry experience of safety, Industry Associates explore physical, psychological and emotional safety, and consider how these apply in classrooms, workshops and other learning spaces. The session uses peer learning and workshop activities to build a practical strategy bank for supporting safety, wellbeing and inclusion.
