Who are Industry Associates?

This opening session introduces Industry Associates to their role, the structure of the programme and the value of their industry expertise in a Further Education setting. Industry Associates begin to explore how industry insights, occupational standards, and experience as successful learners can transfer into teaching and learning. Safeguarding is introduced as an essential responsibility in Further Education. The session introduces how the programme will model practical approaches that Industry Associates can later draw on in their work to support teaching.
